			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Every morning I tend to open up Twitter just to check updates on what going on around twitterverse.  Somehow today Thursday, Twitter.com is no where to be found.  Like what I mentioned on my previous post about <a title="Why twitter is slow" href="http://www.crovean.net/why-is-twitter-slow-to-load">twitter&#8217;s latency slowing down</a> is not good for them.  But to be honest I have no clue on what&#8217;s going on.  If you have stumble on this post, I am just letting you know that your not alone, there&#8217;s also alot of people out there wondering what the heck&#8217;s going on and why twitter.com is not up.  I guess all we have to do now is wait and be patient. <img src='http://www.crovean.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<h2>Update:</h2>
<p>According to MSNBS, hackers where responsible for twitter&#8217;s downtime and Facebook latency problems this morning.  From Twitter&#8217;s blog site it says: &#8220;defending against a denial-of-service attack,&#8221; personnel from twitter was working hard defend their website from attacks where remote computers were controlled and targets the social networking websites to prevent legitimate access to view their websites.   <a title="twitter and facebook vs hackers" href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32315051/ns/technology_and_science-tech_and_gadgets/">Read more</a></p>
