Most of the time when you post an ad on Craigslist you always try to figure out how to post your web address as a hyper link so the viewer would just click on the link and get directed to your website. Your website is just a click away and gives your reader easy access to your website when there’s a hyperlink on your craigslist ad.

Problem: How can you post a hyperlink on craigslist?

Answer: add this line (text in red) on your “Posting Description” box on your craigslist ad. (see below)

<a href=”http://www.crovean.com”>Nashville Web Design</a>
or
http://www.crovean.com

Line above will output a hyperlink like this: Nashville Web Design
Just change the URL to your web address and Nashville Web Design to whatever text you want to show. Also if you too lazy to do all of this code, you can copy the URL from the address bar and paste it on your craigslist ad. Craigslist website will recognize it as a URL and transform it for you. Just make sure you copying the whole URL address.

Not only in craigslist that this code applies, this is a HTML code that will work with any text box that read HTML codes. One good example is on online forums, email, and more.

If you have any questions about this tutorial please leave a comment!

Thanks and have a great day!
