The LNT4665FX/XAA also has the problem. Samsungs tech support is by far the worst that I have ever seen in the electronics industry.

Yo alex, if your friends tv is still under warranty, just switch the back of your tv with em. Know a few who have done it with the LN650.

PS- When I was removing the bad caps, I noticed that one of the stems was soldered to another part of the circuit, just ever so slightly, no doubt by accident. So I wonder if that had any effect.

Fired right up!!! Wish I knew this info was online two weeks ago when I started testing for the problem. Took me that long to find the problem by myself- wasn't till I went to order the caps that I found all this info about everyone else having the same prob. Samsung should be ashamed of themselves! But hey, It's on now, can't complain with the eventual result. I did get it fixed once under warranty 7 months ago. (Replaced the whole board) The repair lasted 7 months and they refused to fix it for free again when it broke down this time. Glad I got it fixed again no doubt (for 78 cents!) but now I feel like it's just a matter of time before I wake up and it doesn't turn on again. Wish I just knew what was causing the caps to blow.

25v should be enough. Most of the caps having problems are with 10v.

I just ordered two 25v 1000uF 105c for my LN750 and still waiting for them. I just ordred the capacitors with the same exact specs. Should I have gotten a higher voltage? Or should this work, atleast for awile anyway. Afterall it took 7 months to blow in the first place. Also bought the 3.15 and 6.3 A fuses just in case.

My LNT5271f is having the clicking problem. Right now it takes my TV 10 minutes to turn on. Once on, the TV works fine with no picture issues. This issue started to happen about 2 months after the warranty expired. Someone else I know who has the exact same TV just had this problem start to happen. His tv is just under 2 years old. I'm never buying another Samsung product.

Had same issue with LNT4053. Replaced 4 bulging capacitors. 2 of them were leaking.

Thanks for the advice.
