As a technician for over 50 years, I find Samsung good vakue for money. Most repairs can be completed in 10 or 15 minutes. As information given above, uprate the voltages in the power supply caps.Good points: Most other sets the inverter goes.....I have repaired 100s of Samsungs and have had to replace an inverter....If I had to we would be talking serious money......Free advice given on Samys and any other LCD you may have....I"m only 77 but the tops at my full time job

I have the same issues. A lot of clicking and not powering on. Started last night. I bought the LN46A650A just over 3 years ago. I called and spoke to Executive Consumer Relations. They told me that they could not do anything due to when the TV was produced and when I purchased the TV. Talked to a Samsung Tech and he says, he sees it all the time. Very common issue. Its going to cost $110 just to come to your house and diagnose the problem. Sounds like a compacitor problem. Thank you very much! Called my local TV repair guy, he says yup see it all the time. He's charging $50 to diagnose and then that goes towards the fix. Find out Tues! Samsung didn't come through for me. Hope others have better luck!

Same issue as others report - extended clicking before TV turns on fully - model LNT4671FX/XAA - same very courteous response from Samsung ('you are entitled to one free service call and repair, as long as it is a capacitor problem'). I'm expecting the service call tomorrow, about 55 hours after my initial call to Samsung.
Superb customer service!!
