Sony is always known of its quality and higher end pricing on its products. As announced yesterday Sony has unvieled the new PlayStation 3 Slim. They have to cut down its price tag of the PlayStation 3 to compete with the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii, which dominated the market since the were introduce couple of years ago. The PlayStation 3 Slim is however true to its name, it’s a third smaller and lighter from its previous version but while the chassis is smaller the hard drive is actually larger at 160 GB. It’s also greener, by using 34% less power.
I am not sure why it took forever to get this version of the PS3. They should have done this at a long time ago and now they are way pass over due on this price drop. They have been trailing behind and they should have notice this before but why now when we everybody owns a Wii or a Xbox 360.
